No. 16 Truck was for the 4 and 5 HP engines with a mill or saw.
The Box was designed just for the 1/2HP engine. It had a pull out drawer inside.
No. 11 Truck was for the 1-1/2 and 2 HP engines.
No. 14 Truck was for the 2, 4 and 5 HP engines. The 14 swivel box is the same used on the 13.
No. 9 Truck was only for the 1/2 HP engine.
No. 10 Truck was for the 1-1/2 and 2 HP engines. We are looking for an example to take measurements.
The following is a summary of the New Holland Trucks.
The Box Sled was for the 2, 4 and 5 HP engines with a 6-1/2 mill, Baby and Farmer Saws.
Very early New Holland brochures explain they sold a 2-wheel and axle with tongue. This was placed in the groove at the bottom of the engine sill allowing the operator to move the engine around. We are looking for photos with the 2-wheel and axle being used.
Trucks
NHMC made their own trucks to move their engines around. They were documented as being called trucks and not carts. The various trucks were built to support the different HP engines or combination of items on the truck. NHMC did not "upgrade" trucks over time, rather they were consistent with their truck styles. Below are examples of what NHMC mounted their engine onto.
All of the NH engines were available with skids.
No. 13 Truck was for the 2, 3, 4 and 5 HP engines. The 3 and 4 HP engines were physically the same size.
No. 15 Truck was for the 2, 4 and 5 HP engines with a mill or saw.
